Reunion!!
The Leader of the Pack, Ms. Cobi is so on top of the game and into Everything. She has blogger friends everywhere, including my home town. So, to get us going and vamping up for new things to come she not only got me invited into the SacramentoBloggers meeting, but she did one better....She flew here to go with me!! WOW, Seriously dedicated woman. She rocks! It was the bestest Christmas present ever.
So, what was the meeting...Checking out a new Night Club in town called "Reunion".
When I looked up the details of the club I thought for sure that was the reason Cobi was coming because it is a Dueling Piano Bar, so her thing. But as we walked in the surprise on her face told me she didn't know that was part of the deal. The club was great. They do a buffet dinner (really cheap and really good) and because they were having our group there they made up a drink for us appropriately named "Blogger"
Which was really yummy.
I am really glad that I went because I met some really amazing women. It was super fun. And hopefully, through these friendships I can learn some more about what I am doing in this blog world. I can't wait for the next one.
Thanks SacramentoBloggers & NannyGoats for the great night out and the pics!!

Mrs. Meyer
I love me some Stephenie. She looks gorgeous. But look at her arms crossed. What is she doing? Does she really get nervous still?
Stephenie did head over to Twilight Camp in LA and surprised the crowd with some trivia. The winners got DINNER with her. WOW! I really wish I could have been there and won. I was stumped though by the questions. I would not have won. If you want to watch that catch it at TwilightLexicon

Love for a fellow Twihard
This girl just made me LOL! How has she been watching me? She left out our trip to the mother land, but otherwise that pretty much sums up the last 6 years. Holy cow. There is going to be some let down in a week from all this high.
Thanks again to Twilight Lexicon for sharing your wisdom with us!

Did you watch this?
Kristen is still shaking and nervous (??). I love the outfit though. She hardly ever answers a questions fully. In all her interviews, she half answers questions. I love her energy for the series.

He's Funny!!
I just get a kick out of Rob. I find him so funny. His humor is awesome. Check out the trinity interviewed by MTV.
My question to MTV.....WHY??? Can't you just let them all play at once? I know that you get way more advertisements if you break it up into 20 different clips, but IT SUCKS!! And why hasn't some fan put them all together in one clip for me? I don't know how to do that, but if I did I would.

31 Days: We Support
Well, let's be honest we could continue to post more than 31 days of charities that we love. We could go on and on, but we are going to focus on The Salvation Army Angel Tree. We love what they do...Help provide Christmas to those in need. Obviously every parent wants to give their child a Christmas to remember. Trying to not get Materialized over the season can be difficult. It isn't even the "things" it is the feeling that a child has Christmas morning when they get to open up something new. That complete JOY. In the spirit of this last Twilight being about a Mother and her New Power to Protect we want to spread our love and joy to those we don't even know. Please donate to our efforts in support of The Angel Tree.
We will have drop off locations at Sweet Tooth Fairy November 15-17. FIND ONE HERE. Also, do you have the need to give more than something for a young one? Do you have time? We will be helping out in the "Warehouse" on Saturday November 17th. E-mail us and we will give you the details.

10 things to do to prepare for BD2
Here are some things that You can do to get back into the Twilight spirit. (Fandango did a list of 20 things which inspired me for this post, but some of their items were a little too corny for me. If you want to review their post click here)
*Dress-up like a character. If you do this I MUST see pictures. (Here is Fandango's character reference)
*Watch all the Twilight Cast interviewed (See previous post for dates and shows)
*Listen to the Breaking Dawn Soundtrack
*Read Breaking Dawn again. Do this now or else it will be too fresh in your mind before the movie. And you will notice all the inconsistencies.
*Watch the Twilight movies or throw a viewing party (remember there are 4 to watch so you need some time)
*Get together with your Twilight Pack and rehash all your favorite parts
*Go check out Hot Topic for Twilight Gear
*Visit your local Jamba Juice and get a collectors cup and slap bracelet
*Make your Twilight Pack personalized t-shirts
*Review the new Vampires in the film HERE courtesy of TwilightLexicon

31 Days: Read
The SagaGirls started when we read the story "Twilight" and look what it has sprouted into. If only every person took the time to READ something that inspired them. I find something to be inspired by every day. Toady it is The Story Project. They have found ways to encourage young teens who where struggling with literacy. Amazing...Keep up the good work.

31 Days: RAINN
"How you liking the Rain?"
(cheap shot)
This doesn't really apply, but I like RAINN. This is an organization is all about helping those overcoming sexual abuse. They have ways that you can get involved, and not just by donating $. Check them out.

31 Days: (RED)
Being a RED head I have to be all over this charity. But it is more than that. (RED) is all about stopping the transmission of HIV as well as being there to support those living with it. What a worth cause right? Read all the details HERE
BE (RED). Start the end of AIDS now.

31 Days: 1st World Charity
I don't mean to belittle this charity. I mean the spokesperson is none other than.....Ashley Greene, whom I LOVE as Alice. But a charity for girls to get prom dresses is pretty '1st World problems' to me. It does make me happy that some of these designer dresses actually get to make it onto a real life girl next door person and be used for something other than a silly premiere or stashed away in a closet for years to come. (Cause you know these celebrities can't be seen wearing the same dress twice....seriously who made that a rule?)
But check out the good works that they do HERE. Do you still have your prom dress sitting in your closet collecting dust? Don't you think some other girl could make wonderful memories in it? If so SHARE!

Ever been able to drive past a Lemonade Stand and not pull over? If you can't you understand that it just pulls at your heart strings when a kid hosts a Lemonade Stand. The story behind this is awesome. Click HERE to read it all. And if you need to find some way to give to a charity this would be a worthy cause.

31 Days: Feeding America
Thanksgiving is 1 month away and what does Thanksgiving remind us of? FOOD. Yet there are many out in this country that don't have enough to feed themselves or their children. Why not join with THIS charity and find ways for you to help FEED AMERICA.
{You have to do this....Matt Damon said so....and did you see Abigail Breslin? WOW has she grown up or what?}

31 Days: The Birthday Project
Happy B-day To the 1st and the Last Directors:
Catherine Hardwicke (today) and Bill Condon (tomorrow)
Let's Celebrate your B-day THIS way.
I found THIS charity/organization/something on Pinterest! This woman decided for her B-day to give rather than receive She did random acts of kindness, one for every year she is old. WOW! That is awesome. Paying it forward. I love this idea and I am behind it. I have decided (shhhh the family doesn't know yet) BUT this will be a tradition in our family from now on. What better gift can you give yourself then the feeling of doing something good for someone else. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

31 Days: BBBS
Every kid needs a big brother or sister. I had two big sisters and I learned SO much from them. The bad with the good, but great examples of great character. I can't imagine not having that influence in my life. Sometimes in life even when we have older brothers or sisters they can't be that mentor that we need. THIS charity makes it possible for kids to have the type of mentor they need to have a successful life.
{I also had a pretty amazing Little Sister who put up with a lot from me}

31 Days: Predictable?
Well, yup we had to go there. HERE is an organization out to help save wolves. Aren't they so cute. Whether or not you think they are cute or not we couldn't do this awareness month without mentioning our friends here. Take a look and see how gracious these creatures are.

31 Days: BRAIN....er.....BLOOD
THIS charity just makes sense. In our family we have used our share of blood from the blood bank. It only makes sense to give back. BUT you add in another addiction of mine {The Walking Dead} and you have yourself something that just can't be missed. Hope you all can give some BRAINS....er.....BLOOD.

Another Favorite on BD2 Soundtrack
Feist is one that plays on my Pandora station a lot. I love that she is on this sound track. This is a great song. Or at least I think. What do you think? Wouldn't it be cool if they did another sound track mini tour and she was on it? I would be there.
31 Days: Planning for the Future
THIS organization allows women and men to decide their own family plan on their terms. Pretty simple, but for those without insurance or financial stability this is their option. I am So glad that there are organizations out there that help.
{Today they turn 95 WOW! HERE is something interesting to read}

Ellie Goulding
The list is out of the singles on the BD2 sound track. I am liking this one:

31 Days: SADD
It actually is not a SADD charity, it has happy results. They help provide peer pressure in a good direction. They influence teenagers to not be UNDER the influence of drugs and alcohol. They have also started a campaign against Texting and Driving!! Wonderful influence. Check out their progress HERE.
Sunday, October 14, 2012
31 Days: Saving the Children
Add to their resume: Guardian Angel because they are Saving the World one Child at a Time. WOW! This charity does it all...poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease... I am glad there are people out there working their magic to make sure that the each child sleeps well tonight. See all their good deeds HERE

31 Days: Missing
This is like my worst fear {losing my child}. I hyperventilate a bit when we go places in crowds. And to be honest it isn't realistic. My kids have never gone away from me, but it still drives me nutty. This organization helps families that have lost a child. I hope that none of you ever have to use them, but it is great to know that there are people out there helping you at your worst moment. See what good deeds they are doing HERE.

31 Day: Helen Keller continues to Give
If you do not know the story of Helen Keller...where have you been. She not only inspires dance music, but she started THIS charity. Imagine a world that was dark and without the beauty of this world. Imagine not seeing your child or worse...your child not seeing You!
{I was going to link to the 3OH3 video, but I actually watched it....HAHA!! If you don't mind being offended take a look}

31 Days: Love for a Story
I am an AVID reader. I love books. I love where they can take me. And look at the POWER of books. Our blog, our connection, our strength in numbers all stems from each of us individually reading a book and finding that connection. Imagine if you did not have access to a book? I personally would be devastated. THIS charity helps provide kids with books and the access to reading. What a great purpose.

31 Days: Childhood Diabetes
I was introduced to Childhood Diabetes as a 13 year old. I became friends with a girl who had Type 1. There was a lot that I learned from her. I had the opportunity to participate in the summer camp as well. JDRF is a great organization. Here is some information about Type 1 Diabetes.
- As many as three million Americans may have type 1 diabetes. 1
- Each year, more than 15,000 children and 15,000 adults - approximately 80 people per day - are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the U.S.2

31 days: Heart Love
We are so grateful for a team of qualified and talented doctors that were able to repair the heart of our father a year ago. We are so grateful for the advances in technology.
What advances in technology are you most grateful for?
Can you 'Pitch'er a 'Perfect' Anna
So, to get you all excited for things you will NOT see in BD2 go out and see Pitch Perfect with the very talented Anna Kendrick. I just love that this girl has a great connection to Twilight. Go out and support her. From everything I hear the show is Awesome. I can't wait to see it.

31 days: Team In Training
One year ago I had the privilege to go and run the San Francisco Half Marathon with my Husband. It was such wonderful experience. 40,000 runners and most of them were apart of Team In Training. I love the idea of helping others and taking care of your body at the same time. There were cancer survivors running, cancer patients and a ton of friends and family of both. The energy from this crowd was electrifying and kept your spirits up the entire run. I think everyone should participate in these types of activities more often, either as a race participant or a cheerleading spectator. It lifts the soul and feeds your spirit like nothing else can.
Go! Fight! Win!

31 days: Kidneys
One in 10 American adults, more than 20 million, have some level of Chronic Kidney Disease.
The SagaGirls' Daddy has kidney problems, that have made the last 15 years difficult for him. If you or someone you know is dealing with the effects of kidney disease the National Kidney Foundation is a wealth of free information. Knowledge is wealth.
Taking over LA?
The news has hit all over the web about the details of BD2 Premiere in LA. The Ladies at LTT posted them and you can read them HERE. My question is who's going? I wasted some time reading some of the comments and there are some angry fans about the new process. I for one LOVE the new process. Anyone willing to take the chance this last time? What is the furthest you have gone to be "involved" with this series?
I dragged {whatever they ALL went willingly}the SagaGirls to Forks. That is the furthest I have gone. I guess getting together a theater full of people is going an extra mile also. I love celebrating the Saga with all you guys.

31 days: Autism
Cobi's youngest, 41/2yr old has autism and she writes about their journey at Peace from 6 Pieces.
We realize that many of you may be outside of Utah, but the reason we still chose this as our charity for today is because we love the fact that this charity is ran completely by volunteers. We love that every last cent of donations to this NON-PROFIT organization goes back to the people through:
grants, education and research.
Do you have a charity in your neck of the woods that is ran the same way?
Let us know about it.

31 days: Bullying
October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month
I have witnessed first hand how bullying can crush a child's spirit. My oldest had a bully year after year and it broke my heart to see her cry everyday before and after school. We were able to resolve every issue but I know that's not always the case.
Bullying has become a huge problem. 1 in 4 teens is bullied every day and with all the latest and greatest technology it makes it even easier to bully more often. 43% of kids are bullied while online. How do we protect our kids?
We need to be involved in the every day stories of our children and really listen. Take the time to ask questions about how they think they should handle situations and then give suggestions and give them tools to speak and people to help when you are not there.
We need to actively teach our kids to be kind and the best way is by example.
Safe To Talk Foundation is an amazing organization helping our kids. Here is their mission....
Safe to Talk is committed to helping create safe and secure environments for our schools, nationwide. We believe that this can be accomplished through the advancement of education through programs and technology. Imagine, turning cell phones into a tool for kids to stop bullying instead of starting it! Programs consist of anti-bullying, self esteem, team sports and technology for schools. Our goal is to reduce violent and dangerous behaviors by empowering students with the training, tools, and resources needed to safely speak out against dangerous behaviors. With school budgets being reduced across the country, Safe to Talk’s mission is more critical than ever. Without gracious donors and sponsors, schools will see an even faster increase in bullying, drugs, violence, and suicides. Please join us as we help provide schools with the needed resources, as they wage this war against school violence, bullying, and drugs.
THIS IS OUR SAGA FOR THE NEXT 31 DAYS
WE WANT TO BRING AWARENESS TO MANY DIFFERENT CHARITIES THAT NEED A VOICE. SOME OF THEM ARE ONES WE WORK WITH REGULARLY, SOME ARE ONES THAT EFFECT OUR FAMILIES & SOME CHARITIES ARE ONES THAT WE FEEL ARE IMPORTANT. PLEASE SHARE WITH US WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.
TOGETHER OUR SAGA UNITES AND WE BECOME THE CHANGE.

Following Billy
I have this weird problem....I fall in love with a story/character and latch onto them and have a hard time letting go. I don't know why. I have finally released my fascination with Julia Roberts. It's funny my hubby and I really liked snatch, which turned into me liking Jason Statham, and subsequently every time I see a show with him in it I nudge my hubby and say, "Hey, It's OUR guy." Obviously the hubby has accepted this as a flaw in me and lives with it. I don't know why this happens, but SINCE I love all things twilight {silly Stephenie Meyer} I can't help following those actors that play my favorite characters. One of those being...{Billy Burke} I love him as Charlie. I think he wraps that character up. So, when randomly when I was searching for something to watch and stumbled on this {Revolution}. I was sucked in because Mr. Billy Burke is in it. BUT, I found fun little quirks inside it....like it is filmed in the same location as The Walking Dead {another guilty pleasure of mine}. I hope that you all check it out. The makers also grabbed onto the "Katniss" aspect by planting a young girl as a main character that is also great at bow hunting.

Favorite Quotes from the BDP2
School is back in session....let's get the party going. We are all getting so anxious for the movie and we have plans that are being made. But until we are all "official" and stuff I wanted to remind you what we are all looking forward to.
Here are two of my favorite quotes from BDP2
"After eighteen years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I could shine."
I love this part of the story. I love that Bella finally grows into her skin {Literally}. She gets to unleash her inner goddess and it is just so much fun to watch that happen.
"You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?"
This whole encounter absolutely makes me light up. Can you imagine? At Comic Con Kristen and Taylor commented about how much "fun" it was to film this. I hope that it lives up to my expectations in my head.
What is your favorite quote? What are you most looking forward to in BDP2? What are you hoping they leave out?
Here are two of my favorite quotes from BDP2
"After eighteen years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I could shine."
I love this part of the story. I love that Bella finally grows into her skin {Literally}. She gets to unleash her inner goddess and it is just so much fun to watch that happen.
"You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?"
This whole encounter absolutely makes me light up. Can you imagine? At Comic Con Kristen and Taylor commented about how much "fun" it was to film this. I hope that it lives up to my expectations in my head.

This Sh*tuff never gets old
Just when you thought that the end was near and there wasn't anything new we could learn about Robsten...they leak a story like this. Yup folks, she has apparently cheated on the {Romeo} of our century. WOW! That is pretty big news. (And by that I mean us calling Rpatz the Romeo of our time) Don't know how truthful the story is. Will we ever? Probably not, but since it was printed in the tabloids you know the story won't be going anywhere. Sad that it had to be with a married man. That always makes me sad. The details are pretty vague so who knows just what it all really means. Celebrity's are people too and are bound to make mistakes, many, many, mistakes.

Comic Con Review
Finally back to the real world...Oops {Twilight} World. I am back with time, and space, and TIME to delve into a silly little passion of mine. Comic Con 2008 really changed the view of what everyone expects from a silly little indi film and this past weekend was Comic Con again. I sat down and watched the panel interviews that were available online. {Wish I had planned to be there instead} But it looked like fun. You could really see the excitement that Kristen has for playing "Vampire" Bella. As much as there are haters out there you have to love that enthusiasm she has for this character. I don't think that anyone can say that she doesn't really put herself into that role. It is funny to watch and listen to fans, like you and I, ask the same DAMN questions every interview. What was your favorite scene? What are you going to miss? Are you going to finish Midnight Sun? Personally, if I were Stephanie I would just put the dumb book out so that people would get off her butt. But I WOULD for sure ask Mrs. Meyer if she would please write the whole story of Alice and Jasper. That is one I want to read!
See for yourself and tell us what you think? Click on the link here where Twilight Lexicon has it all posted.

Twilight VS Buffy
Well...well...well. Yup! We are still here and alive. Life has thrown a few wicked curve balls to us all here and honestly we just needed to recharge our batteries. Mr. Fantastic sent me this e-mail and I just couldn't resist sharing it with all of you. I guess I am the superficial type of reader because I really don't dissect the book. I have never found the resemblance of Twilight to the "Mormon" religion and never truly seen the above indicated message of stalking or male chauvinism. I guess I am blind when it comes to this stuff. Or it is just that I enjoyed the book, loved the parts that I did, and moved on.
I do love the above review. I love a good laugh. AND honestly who does not love Buffy. She kicks A**. However, to be fair....Bella does go face James all by herself. And then the Volturi with the idea that she will be killed. She also believes that she will sacrifice herself for the "family" if needed. Just because she is also the type of girl that falls apart whenever her soul mate is around to me is not a fault. It is just the makeup of a typical woman. I know that I myself would take on any intruder that tried to hurt my family, but I also crumble in the night when there is a noise and I know that Mr. Fantastic is by my side to check it out. That is the beauty of a woman.

Ticket Pick Up
Some of you may be asking....Why are they having these ticket pick up parties? Well let's break it down. There are 600 of you and only 4 of us girls. In order to get us in full party mode we didn't want to stressing about tickets at the last minute.
The added bonus??? You get to try out a few of our sponsors and see just why we chose to have them help us out. Some come eat some yummy breakfast at Hagermann's next Saturday or spend the day of the movie with us at Echelon and get your Capitol look rocking. We cannot wait to see you all.
We have a few of you joining us that are from out of the Salt Lake area (we really appreciate you making the trek to support this event) if you fall in this category and are unable to make it to one of these pick-up parties...e-mail us.
Thank YOU!

Movie Timing
Are you still on pins and needles wondering about the timing of the movie? We have a final time. The movie will start at 8:10pm. There will be some more info coming soon about the night of the event, but we wanted to share this little tidbit.
What a pair these two will make. I cannot wait to see how it all plays out on screen. Here is a glimpse of how Jennifer felt when first meeting Mr. Harrelson. “I had been practicing what I was going to say in my trailer because I couldn’t decide if I was going to go with ‘Hey, how are ya, I’m Jen!’ or ‘Hi Woody, it’s such an honor to meet you, I’m Jennifer.’ Read the full story HERE.

Favorites........
I love this picture, don't know why. It also has one of my favorite quotes. I reread the book again so that I remembered everything. I laughed and cried all over again, probably even more so cause I know the ending. Tell us your favorite moments, quotes or picture.
