the whole fam damily

Today we got an update on our famous Cullen Family. Great news for us Alice & Emmit fans....

THE CULLEN FAMILY CAST RETURNS FOR SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT’S THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN

Los Angeles, CA May 19, 2010 – Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Elizabeth Reaser, and Nikki Reed will all return as members of the Cullen Family in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN. These cast members join Billy Burke as Charlie Swan.

I am happy to hear that Ms. Greene & Mr. Lutz have signed their contracts. I hope that they got to make all the money they wanted. I really think that all the cast deserve it. Hopefully this will mean two films are in the works, but nothing official yet on this. Now let's get filming people!!! You got a movie to make.

Stephenie is still about us fans

Stephenie just keeps giving us more and more reasons to love her and her stories. Not only does she come out with a new book in just a few weeks, but she has just announced that she is going to be doing her own press junket for Eclipse. Click HERE to read the details. The question that comes to my mind.....was our little blog in the mix? Probably not since our blog was just started this year, has only a few followers, and was initially started just to have a screening of the movie, but then on the other hand Summit does know about us. It would be cool to have been chosen. June 18th will be the interview and I will be watching the blogs for all the news of course. Thanks to Stephenie for remembering why this series is such a success....YOU and ME.

Is our blog in that hat?

uPdAtEs, UPDATES, updates....

We have been waiting on some good news to share, but it turns out we don’t have the news we wanted so we will just have to go with this. The SagaGirls have decided that we have bitten into more than our coven can actually devour so we have scaled back our appetite. In human terms….we have changed our theater size. By moving to a smaller theater we are able to have a more intimate feel with fellow Saga Fever fans that are less than six degrees of separation from the SagaGirls. With this change there were some minor seating changes, but for the most part every group was able to stay in the same position. If you are concerned about your seats please e-mail us so that we can let you know exactly if and where you were changed to.

We now have our tickets in hand so we will be having a ticket party on Monday, June 28 location to be determined. Our screening will begin promptly at 12:15am June 30th. We will have more details about our event as it gets closer.

So now just sit back and get ready for an event like you will never forget.

If you did not already notice we had taken off the seating chart from the blog...why you ask? We had some visitors from Summit Entertainment, yes the one and only, and they apparently were not too happy that we had started selling our private screening seats. We took off the seating chart so that we were not in their bad graces. Now that seats are available all over we have put back our seating chart. If you review it you will notice that we still have some seats available. If you have anyone that would like to come see the film with you let them know about our shindig.

We really cannot wait for this event to get underway. We have less than 45 days to go!!! YAY!!!!

Nikki turns 22

This young actress has taken on a lot of flack for staring as Rosalie Hale, because of the nature of the character. I think that she has handled all the press really well. I am kind of amazed that she is only 22, because when I have seen interviews with her she seems poised well beyond her years. I am excited to see Eclipse with Nikki because she gets the chance to tell her back story. Congrats for all the success. Happy Birthday.

It's an improvement....

I guess we should start by saying that I am not the biggest Oprah fan. I was hoping that this could change my mind on her, but it has made my thoughts more concrete. I think that the reason why Oprah did this show in the first place is because she felt that "Twilight" was too big to ignore and also that it would be great for ratings. Well she got her wish. Ratings I am sure were off the chart. I really enjoyed the show with the actors. I thought the questions were good and I loved seeing the actors interact, but there were A LOT of commercials. Towards the end there were so many that only one question got answered before it was yet another commercial. I am pretty sure that sponsors were happy. They brought Dakota in and then took her out and then brought her back, I know this was all just taping, but can't Oprah get continuity right??

The good stuff. There was a sneak peak of some scenes which was awesome to see. I loved how Rob and Kristen answered the question about them dating. Very smooth. Kristen seemed less fidgety and happy. I really enjoyed the banter between the actors. I guess that I should have submitted a story into the Oprah request so that Mr. Pattinson would have stopped by my house, but really I think that would have been bad news. Even better would have been if they had sent Kristen to my house. I would have loved that. Anywho. Hope you had time to watch. If not they appear again on Ellen on the 19th. You better believe that I will be watching that too.

Mr. Pattinson Happy B-day

Happy Birthday, Mr. Pattinson and thanks for making the Twilight series so much fun. I will have to say that when they first signed on Robert to play Edward I was concerned. This was my beloved Edward and what exactly was he going to do with the character. Over the last two movies I have come to trust his view of Edward and in my opinion he has served Mrs. Meyer's vision well. Wishing him much success.

what's the hold up?

Have you been wondering what the hold up was for announcing and shooting Breaking Dawn? Here is one magazine's thoughts on the hold up and I tend to agree that most likely it is money issues. Their thoughts are that it has come down to Kellan (Emmit) and Alice's (Ashley) contracts. I really hope that they can finalize these because I WANT my finale to be fully jam packed and with all the details that they can muster. I also don't want to sacrifice my beloved actors. I guess we will just have to keep guessing for now and cross our fingers that all works out in the end.

the mothers

I know this may be taking this a little far, but let's not forget this year some very special mothers. The mother of it all Mrs. Stephenie Meyer. WOW! She really started something with this crazy dream she had. It really is pretty awesome how many trends and lives changed she is responsible for. Our hats off to you. What an accomplishment.Renee is the mother of Bella Swan and although she can be flighty and minimally present in the stories she does play a major role. She has molded our heroine into the person she is. Without this type of mother Ms. Bella would not be so ready to take on all the unreal circumstances thrown at her.
Now the unlikely mother. Mrs. Cullen is a great example of a mother giving her child everything and anything they need for happiness. Even though Ms. Swan could potentially make her life very uncomfortable, instead of pushing her away she accepts her completely because it is what her "son" really needs to be happy. Mothers are just so giving.
Thanks to these mothers for being great examples. Hope all you mothers out there have a great day today. Motherhood has so many rewards that it is impossible to count them all.

what are you doing on 11/18/11?

watching breaking dawn of course. we can start the planning for the next event...and we have quite some time on our hands. I won't lie I am a bit disappointed. I really was hoping that we could get the two movie deal have one out June 2011 and the second November 2011, but it doesn't look like that is happening. The latest Tweet from Summit is that the release for Breaking Dawn is 11/18/2011. No word officially if that will be one film or two. either way you know that I will be one of the first in the line waiting for the party to start. (at least we have some official progress and some dates to look forward to)

bring on the interviews

So all things Twilight are getting in gear. We are going to have some fun interviews to watch and enjoy coming up soon. One of the blogs that we personally read is Twilight Lexicon. One of the admins of the site Alphie actually got the chance to be at the Oprah show for the taping of the show for next week featuring...of course....all things Twilight, Rob, Kristen, Taylor, & Dakota. If you are interested in a behind the scenes view of the taping read it here.
