Disappointed

Summit disappointed me again! I was so excited cause my favorite movie, to date, was finally coming to DVD. I called up all my best girls to see who wanted to be {Wild & Wreckless} with me to hang out until Midnight and like the other DVD releases hope to get a signature from an associated actor. I checked into my PTO time to see if I could afford to leave work early to get in line, since last year I didn't get a signature being {50} people away from the cut off. Turned out I did not have enough. I was at a loss for a buddy, my partner in crime is out on maternity leave. I checked all my usual blogs and twitters to see if there was any hint of who would be at the release....it was eerily quiet in ciberville. But I decided to heck with it I will just see what comes. I packed a bag with my camera & Eclipse book and zoomed out the Wall-E's that has the goods. When I turned into the parking lot I knew something was off, as there were still parking spots available and it was close to 9pm. I pulled up to the front and there was no tape around the entrance (as has been in the past). I peeked inside. AND UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT! There would be no cast member at the release. Apparently Summit didn't think that it would be adventagous to get everyone pumped for a DVD release that said movie theater release did not meet their expectations. There were only two cast members & David Slade out doing signings (those being in California & Forks). Maybe Summit isn't to blame. From a tweet by one of the cast members it looks like they were all busy actually filming. Maybe it is Mr. Condon's fault that I was so sorely diappointed? It's over now. No reason to dwell.

Makes me wonder if some Twilight spot light has been moved elsewhere? Will we continue to be disappointed? I sure hope that it can at least at least until the release of the final Movie. I need my fix!

Krisbians?

I had not heard of this term {Krisbians} until today while I was reading my FAV twilight related blog {Letters to Twilight} I think this is hilarious that apparently there are "New" lesbians who were brought to lesbianism just by Kristen Stewart, WHAT? That is some crazy power that she has. I am really not the type that will let this love of twilight go that far. I think there is a line in the sand and this is about 100 feet over that line, bordering loony bin.

Well I am sure that the directors and Stephenie herself knows better, but I was not ready to hear that Mackenzie Foy is officially Renesmee. She is a darling girl. I don't doubt that she will do great, but she is 10. What story is this? In the Breaking Dawn I read she was advanced, yes, but not 10. Holy Crow that is old. Doesn't the whole ending go down in a couple of months? Not years? Good luck making her look like a baby.

Happy Birthday Bella

Today is a very important date in the Twilight world. It is the dear Bella's Birthday. This character has started quite a bru-ha-ha with all the dramatics around her life. I think the great part about this character is that she is so relatable. She is very vulnerable. There are so many characteristics that each and every person has something to relate to. In my opinion she is the reason this saga has been so successful. You are just drawn to her. I commend Kristen Stewart for pulling off her character so successfully. She has that part down. Did you do anything to celebrate?

OMG! Can you believe that they are posting this SH*T? (click here to see what I am talking about) Okay, so if you not a fanatic like me you may not have heard the news, so here is your update....Cast members of Eclipse are showing up all over the country this weekend to surprise fans and watch the film with them. Not only that, but now we have learned that they are actually LEAKING the cities and locations on the website. HOLY CROW! That seems silly to me because of course those theaters are going to be mobbed, but to each his own. Good luck! I hope we get to see someone here. I will be watching...

Is it over? Wow! That was a fun party. I cannot quite wrap my head around the fact that after six months of planning and literally hundreds of hours of work, us four girls pulled off a pretty Swank Screening of Twilight: Eclipse. The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner

SO, who has done their homework and read the latest edition of Ms. Meyer's library? (of course I am talking about The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner). I must admit that this took me a lot longer to read than Twilight, even though it is about a third of the volume. WHY? Well I have been getting ready for the most fabulous party coming up. Oh, and I haven't forked over the money yet, (but I will very soon) to purchase my own copy. I have read it online for FREE, Ms. Meyer's gift to us fans. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Have you read it? Are you going to? Are you reading Eclipse? If you are interested just click here to read it online, but remember it is only available until July 5th.

I really think that Ms. Meyer found her nitch. She really could write about these stories FOREVER and never run out of material. Even though some of it is a cross over from what you have already read, it is still so much fun to read something from someone's perspective.

Do you need a Twilight Stephenie Meyer fix?

So, we blogged a couple of weeks ago that Stephenie Meyer was doing things different this time around with the publicity for Eclipse. She chose to have four twilight fansites visit her and have an interview. This way she felt that her fans would get some answers to their questions. This all went down last Friday. The four fansites got to spend four hours with Ms. Meyer and rack her brain. AWESOME. I guess there must be some contract that they cannot spill their interview answers yet because none of the sites have any of the actual questions posted, that I can tell, but this one site that I loved already has just a great GREAT rundown of how things went while in the interview. If you want to get some Meyer fix check it out here. I will warn you that these girls get a little excited and sometimes lay down some questionable language, but it is darn funny.

Happy Father's Day

This Father's Day I wanted to send a very special shout out to two amazing dads/actors.

To be honest when I read the books the first time I liked the character of Charlie Swan, but my expectations were not that high. However, Billy Burke made me just LOVE this character. He really encompassed Chief Swan so well. Congrats to Mr. Burke for doing such an awesome job. If you didn't know Billy has an album coming out June 22nd. I think that it is going to be a big hit. Much success.

Then there is this guy. Carlisle Cullen was always a favorite in the book. I really felt that he really tried to be the best "person" he could even when it was so unfamiliar to him. Peter Facinelli takes on this character so well. I keep wanting more time to spend with him, but before I know it the scene is over and they have moved on. I am excited to see Eclipse and hopefully some more time with all the Cullens.

The excitement of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be delivered directly to fans in their hometowns and online with “TWILIGHT Night” special events. Moviefone will live-stream events from Philadelphia and San Diego at www.moviefone.com/twilightnight which will include interviews with cast, fan reactions, special guests and sneak peeks of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, allowing those unable to attend to still take part in the celebration. Oh my gracious...can you believe that we are two weeks away from our crazy fun event. If that wasn't enough......Your attendance is Required at our ticket party.....Monday June 28 from 7-9pm located outside of our sponsor SmartCookie (7710 S Union Park Ave. Midvale, UT 84047 (next to the Century 16 Theatres)). So checking into Facebook tonight I saw this post of a letter from David Slade (director of Eclipse) to us the fans. Seriously if you read it and don't get hyped up to see this film you are crazy.
